The 2014 American Sonex Association Fly-in is coming.

On October 10th and 11th, Crossville, TN (KCSV) will once again see the largest collection of Sonex, Waiex, Onex, and Xenos aircraft in the world arrive at the premier Sonex Fly-in. Last year we had 41 aircraft and we expect more this year.

Please Pre-register on the ASA website. This can be done by going to the ASA website http://www.americansonexassociation.org/ and click the "Events" tab on the left hand side and then the "Register Now" link in the upper right hand corner. By pre-registering you will be helping us plan for another great fly-in. This helps us plan the food, snacks, tables and chairs for everyone.

Thanks,

Ok, two months until the largest gathering of Sonex Aircraft and it is shaping up to be another great year! According to the count-down timer on the ASA website, only 62 days left for you to make your plans, get your wife permission, or better yet bring her along! We're working on a brochure for the event that people can post to their local EAA chapters, etc. We are still nailing down all the presentations for Saturday. So keep an eye on the ASA events webpage for changes and updates.

Please Pre-register on the ASA website. Hello fellow Sonex flyers,
I am planning on attending the ASA this year, if I can get my engine back on, and have a room that I would like to share at the Baymont if anyone might be interested.

Both Mike Singleton and I plan to attend, but I have my engine apart, and it will depend on how it comes back together. I will advise later if all goes well.

Rob.

Is there anyone within a reasonable distance of Sanford, NC that has a spare seat, either in a car or airplane? I'd be happy to provide my share of the travel costs. I would be able to leave as early as Friday morning and return as late as Sunday evening.

If you don't find a ride or flight, I'll be driving over from Cary, NC leaving "Oh too early" on Thursday. I'll be returning on Sunday morning.

Yes, it seems what we are doing to handle the mixture change from WOT to idle is typical. But I can't reach a setting that gives me the temp drop suggested in the book. I'm either too rich or too lean at WOT.
