What I re-learned today...

Funny how you forget stuff.
I'm building ribs today, and I found a plate where the holes did not align properly.
I figured maybe a mistake at the factory so I began writing a trouble report. I spent a significant amount of time describing the problem and what parts were involved, rechecking the plans etc.
After about 30 minutes I suddenly realized I was putting the parts together backwards! So I took everything apart and re-assembled and Voila! Everything fit correctly.
I learned this lesson with the RV-9A and now I've learned this lesson with Sonex: If a pre-punched part does not fit correctly, you are probably doing it wrong.
*sigh*
Back to work.
