Donation Help
Posted: Mon Oct 17, 2022 9:37 amI donated my QB B standard gear kit to a local (quad cities IL area) EAA chapter along with my entire workshop and tools, down to the work tables I built from the EAA plans. They are going to use/complete the kit as part of their youth aviation program.
The chapter is a newly minted 501c3, and we want to cross all our Ts correctly for both of our protection. We need someone to do an appraisal of the donation. At the last airvventure, an attorney did a great presentation with solid guidance. Looks like anyone in EAA with experience in kits could do the appraisal, but it would be great to get someone specifically familiarity with Sonex. The chapter president can provide the materials if they would be helpful.
