New transponder

Went for my first xponder certification and found out the Kt76 is good for nothing but a boat anchor. Looking for suggestions for a reasonably priced one that people are happy with. Does not need to be adsb-out. I have a Dynon Skyview if that helps.

I have a Garmin 320A. Can be found for $500 or less. Here's one example:

I have the EchoUAT for ADSB "in" & "out". Combo has worked extremely well for a few years now. I have certification again this year (November).

If you want to stay with the KT 76A, I have one that works along with the Ameriking encoder that I removed from my RV-6 in August this year. I'll sell it for $200 with tray and wire harness as removed. If it doesn't work, I take it back and refund you. You pay shipping.

I put the Trig TT22 remote transponder in my RV-6 and it works good. I used a GRT EFIS Horizon 10.1 for control and the GRT SafeFly GPS gives the gps signal to the transponder for ADS-B out.
