After nearly 4 years I’m approaching the 1000 hour mark, at this point in time I have 996 hours in my log book and expect to reach 1000 by the end of the week.

Here’s what I’ve done so far (in that order):
- made all the angle components
- horizontal tail
- vertical tail
- aft fuselage
- forward fuselage
- landing gear
- main and aft spars
- right wing

Here’s what still needs to be done:
- left wing (working on this one now, expect to complete in the coming month or 2)
- wing rigging
- canopy & glareshield
- electrical & instruments
- engine installation & firewall forward
- paint

It’s been quite a journey so far and the way it’s looking right now I might get to fly my airplane mid to end next year.

We were so proud, turned out a couple of days later this was also the first mistake, we hadn’t learned to read the plans properly yet and made a mirror copy of what the part supposed to be.
(I still have this mirror copy and will keep it as a souvenir).

Eventually there is light at the end of the tunnel!

Working my way through it too, a few 'momento's' as well. Looking forward to flying, maybe about the same time.

Yep! I have seen a number of those days in the last 4 years and I'm sure there will be more to come.

I remember feeling completely gutted and lost all motivation after ruining a part that took me more than 10 hours to make. In hindsight those 10 hours lost are nothing in the grand scheme of things.
