Hi all,
www.kathrynsreport.com
N1222C posted 11 apr 2021
accident 27 apr 2020.
Hard landing. KCCB cable airport upland ca.
san bernadino county
jab3300 loss of engine power on dept.
not sure of carb set up. narrative talks of a pressure regulator. possibly a rotec tbi?
i love my rotec but would NOT fly unless you have the upgraded diaphram installed.
the origional has a floating o ring. the new one is molded in.
easy to take regulator apart and replace.
use extreme caution!

if someone could post a direct link much appreciated.

fly smart
fly safe

Hi all,
interesting main gear. looks like a one piece leaf spring?
wonder if the spar was damaged. in the ntsb accident report link, box is checked as airplane destroyed.
Also the airplane had just come out of annual/condition inspection 11 days prior

I wonder if that is the same Sonex that sat on the north side crashed a couple years back? Same airport.
