Aiming wig-wag lights

I have an idea of how to aim my wig-wag lights, but want to hear how others have done so. My lights are constructed from lenses from auto headlights...the simi-sphirical glass lenses...mounted in fromt of a very pright led, with powersupply behind. They are mounted in each wing about 18 or so inches inboard from the wing tip, between two nose ribs, and can be adjusted R/L, U/D to a small ammount. Anybody have a method?

I adjusted one for taxi and one for landing. Wig wag is just a side feature.

fully understand what you have done. i only fly day vfr, so no taxi/landing lites not necessary. i am looking, sort of, for a method of aiming wig wags as if they were 50 cal's aiming at target at a mile maybe? maybe its just a math problem, but i cant be at a mile, so to speak, and adjust the lights to, sort of converge, at that distance. maybe just make them parallel and horizontal when in low cruise so to be recognised as "out there and nearby" to others. the setup for adjustment is most of the problem. just want to see if others have done something like this before, but maybe i can come up with some sort of method.Thanks for the reply!!

In that case you want people flying at or near your altitude to see them. Aim them straight ahead in the level flight attitude.

also, are you saying to make then parrellel, non converging? I agree with all , but it must be at least a two man adjustment. thanks!!
