Photos from today's first annual Great Lakes Sonex Fly In held at Clow airport in Chicagoland.

Special thanks to Al Eidukas who organized a great event, and took an idea to a reality. Hopefully this is the first of many to come.

Bob Meyers (apologies - got this wrong the first time) gave an excellent two part presentation on building his Sonex tri gear and an AeroVee 2.1

Don Nienhouse brought his beautiful conventional gear Sonex to show.

I know Al will post more, but here is a brief summary from my view.

In addition to Bob Meyers presentations, we also had presentations by Rich Tichy on technical counselors, and by Larry Johnson on owning, operating, and inspecting an experimental aircraft.

I did a very short presentation on the Sonex Foundation.

Incredible prizes from some generous vendors and manufacturers, and a great volunteer staff.

The weather was not cooperating much however....
