I need a set of Sonex plans and would like to buy used? Where should I look and what should I know about buying used plans?

There's a set on barnstormers.com right now. You'll have to "transfer" ownership of the plans through the factory for support...

Make sure you have rights to buy the spar caps from Sonex before you buy. If the original owner bought the caps and sold them to someone else, your plans would be worthless. One set of spar caps per set of plans. If you damage your caps, you need to document the damage and convince Sonex you are entitled to a replacement. Its their way of preserving the license to build.

Would a person not be better off buying the latest plans from Sonex with all the current changes incorporated in them. It seems that saving a small amount up front would be a false savings without all the latest info in them.
