Air Filter

A fellow sonex owner suggested it would be good to buy a larger airfilter for my 80 hp Aerovee. He said K&N makes one. Anyone know the part number? Thanks.

Don't know about a larger filter but here is one that is often used to replace the current filter. It allows the engine to breathe a lot better and is easy to clean:

Dunno if this helps,

I'm using a RU-0650, it fits directly onto the aerocarb inlet. Check dimensions though, it's larger diameter than stock so there may not be room for it in your install.

For premolded filters I've seen recommendations for the RU-0650 and a while back the RC-1980. Any new observations or opinions?
