Well last week I was showing off my new led landing lights and I left the master on the next morning the battery was completely dead. I tried to charge it per instructions and nothing it won't hold a charge , will they warranty it.

Also killed one that way. I have an avionics master switch in series with the master switch. The avionics include a GRT EFIS, and a Xcom radio both of which are always on when that avionics master is on and light up nice and bright. However, when the avionics master is off, all looks dead but master switch can still be on, and that eventually runs down the battery. Came up with following fix to prevent killing another battery.
Placed one of Radio Shack's smallest packaged 12 volt red LED lights (fits 1/4" hole) across that avionic master switch. The EFIS and Xcom radio provide enough of a ground path to light that small LED when the master switch is on, but avionics switch is off. Turn on the avionics master and the light goes off so only lights in the one condition when master switch is on but avionics switch is off and makes nice bright reminder to turn off that master.
