What was the Cause?

Will I need to wait a year for the NTSB to report a cause of the accident on June 2, 2015 that caused two deaths in Sonex aircraft N1235X? Seems like Sonex Aircraft LLC should be able to provide some insights?

I re wrote this three times and it still may sound bad.

The NTSB is doing an investigation. This takes time.

I do not think there is a builder or pilot in this community that does not have questions. I do, however, think most of us understand that the families read this forum, and that right now they are suffering through an unimaginable period.

The Sonex factory in Oshkosh is a tight knit family. They, too, read this forum. I know this for a fact.

Out of respect for those who lost their lives, I would ask for your patience and compassion in this and to consider that those most affected are also waiting for these answers. A father lost a son. A wife lost a husband. Two children lost a father. A young man lost his life.

We all want to know, sir.

It's just that we also realize there is more than our "want" involved......

The final report will be published once the investigation is complete and the report is finished. It's anyone's guess as to when that happens.

Given the sensitive nature of this, I don't see any benefit of further discussion. I'm locking this topic. If anyone has information they'd like to add, message me personally.
