Side slipping

The Xenos has air brakes so why would you need to?

Posted: Tue Jun 02, 2015 10:26 amIn my experience the XENOS doesn’t side slip exceptional well, compared to say a Schweitzer 2-33. For me I run out of rudder long before I run out of aileron and before the fuselage side is turned into the relative wind. However, with full spoilers and whatever side slip I can coax out it does provide a steep enough descent to get the job done.
