Mounting GoPro

My wife was kind enough to get me a GoPro for Christmas. :-) For those of you who have mounted one on the exterior of your Sonex, are the stock adhesive mounts adequate? I see it's the 3M VHB adhesive, which is tenacious if left to cure for 24 hours. I do loops and rolls and such, so there are some G's involved.

Thanks,

Hi Mike, the 3M will hold the camera. Mine is still on and if I Want to relocate it I'm going to have to research on how to get the adhesive to release.

I read you have apply heat to get them to release. Otherwise they are rather permanent.
I was trying to remove one from inside the cockpit and became worried it would pull the paint off before the tape came. I'll try heat next time.

Can you tie a knot in a piece of fishing line and use it to saw back and forth through the foam?
