Landing and Nav light wiring

Postby mwhatley » Wed Jun 18, 2014 7:38 pm

Hey guys,

Planning on using the Duck Works LED and probably the Aveo LED Nav lights. Was thinking of using 20 gauge wiring, what have others used?

I'd have a look at the max current draw for the LED units then go from there.
Based on the specs I had, I used 22G for Whelan Nav/Strobe LEDS and 14G for my Duckworks HID Landing Light (circa 2010 no LED version!)

Yeah, the new Duck Works LED's are at 1.8 amps and the Nav/Strobes seem to be less than 1.

20G Tefzel will be fine then.. or even 22G for the Nav lights.
