Stratomaster HX Fuel probe problems

Hi Everyone,
My old fuel probe needed to be replaced so I bought a new one from Sonex. I installed it (and the tank didn't even leak) and it is sending data up and down as I change the level of the fuel. The numbers are different from those on the Sonex instructions. 0 gal is around 900 and 16.8 is around 120. My problem is that I cannot get the Stratomaster to hold the numbers when the unit is turned off. I have installed a new internal battery and other data like hobbs is fine.

Is there a trick I am missing?

Hi Bob,
Try this; after entering all your data go back to menu, select one other item and change it, doesn't matter what it is, then back out of all menus and turn off the unit. Restart the unit and see if it holds. Worked for me a long time back.

I have the mgl maxi single and still to this day cannot get it programmed
Or working , it is nothing but issues , I spent 4 to 5 hours trying to calibrate it , add fuel , hit buttons , add some more fuel , back and forth with no success! Sorry for not giving you any helpful info , but I need help too lol if you find some info ,

Hi everyone,
I tried the "Change another item after setting the Values" and it worked. I have not flown yet but hope everything will stay set.
3/4 through the annual.
Thanks
