Memorial sticker

Postby Sonex1517 » Wed Jun 24, 2015 7:51 am

Same thoughts

I have an EPS file from what seems to be the most popular design.

I still cannot find an easy solution to getting them shipped.

If that doesn't change I will setup an account on a vendors site and let people know how to log in and order.

My biggest concern now is this defeats the original intent of raising money in their memory.

Robbie, Mike,

If either of you decide to arrange for some memorial stickers, put me down for a pair. As to contributing to a memorial fund, at least the stickers will serve as a reminder to contribute once Sonex announces whatever fund they setup.

Consensus on this site seemed to favor Steve's design. Since you two seem to be most active on this, please get together and decide on one to proceed, draw straws if necessary. Better to have one take the lead on this than several with good intentions waiting for others.

The stickers will fit in a #11 business envelope, sandwiched between 2 pieces of cardstock. The weight will be within the limits for a regular postage stamp.

I have volunteered to handle the mailing of the stickers for the foundation. Details to come as soon as we can work out the logistics. Hopefully very soon.

Here is what the decal company sent me (I'll post the digital proof tonight). The cost is even lower when I order 50 (about $1.30 each!). We could set a higher price and have the difference go to a memorial fund.

==================

We can provide your requested decal in pressure sensitive adhesive backed vinyl, die cut to your design. This vinyl is a 10 year vinyl that has the color imbedded in the adhesive. I have attached a digital proof of your design. The gray background is not part of the decal it is for visibility purposes only. Below is a link to place your order. If you have any questions please let me know.

Your Order Link is #4643, which contains these items:

* Vinyl decal logo/text, printed (full color), qty 50, "Memorial" (6 W x 1.7 H in.), Shape: Die cut with no background ($64.50)

The total for all items is $64.50. You can add or remove items, edit quantities, and see shipping options by clicking the link below.

Custom orders will receive a digital proof for your approval soon after placing your order, usually within 72 hours. Once any requested changes are complete and the proof is approved we will begin production immediately, and the order will ship via your selected shipping method as soon as it is ready. Rush service is available for guaranteed delivery dates.

Thank you Mike and Dana!

I sent Dana the file Steve posted here. It seemed to be the most popular

Robbie, if I read this right the decal is 6" x 1.7" which means it will fit in a no. 6 3/4 envelope which in turn fit into a no. 10. So have each person send a stamped self adressed envelope to whoever is going to handle it. Of course this means the foundation would have to order them in bulk to be sent to that person. I would guess a hundred would sell pretty quick, ( I'll be at Oshkosh so no need to send mine, I'll take 2 ). Anyway it's a idea Happy Flying, Chuck 591pc

The stickers have been ordered. I expect to have them just after the 4th of July. I will post ordering information as soon as I receive them.

Assuming some of us might not be able to get one before leaving for Airventure, will someone be bringing a pile to OSH? Like to the homecoming event, etc?
