Looks like the impact was severe, here's a video of crane lifting the wreckage:

Can't see if the left wing is still on there but the right wing is bent completely upwards and backwards.

I just heard one of the fatalities was Jeremy Monnett.

Heartfelt condolences to the Monnett family.

Sad. Just saw that plane a couple weeks ago. My condolences to the family(s) and the crew at Sonex.

Horrible news. I was just at the workshop over the weekend. My thoughts are with everyone at Sonex on this terrible day.

Did the Sport Acro get converted to a two place plane? I saw it years ago and it was setup single place.
