I believe that if you are comfortable landing tailwheel during the day, and comfortable landing nosedraggers at night, you will have no problems landing taildraggers at night.

Good idea to make first night landings on large runway. It WILL look different at night, but should be able to adapt quickly. Also good to check how your landing light is aimed while at field with lots of lights that smaller field may have less of.

I have flown my taildragger Sonex at night a fair amount (~25 hrs). The only gripes I have are taxiing visibility sucks, and my Enigma is too bright. Otherwise, no problems.
