Firewall insulation

Anyone applied insulation to a Sonex or Onex firewall? I know my Jab 3300 Sonex firewall got down right toasty. Considering insulating the interior of my Onex firewall and I am at a point that now is the time.

On my Aerovee Sonex I used this:

Seemed to work well. Sold by Aircraft Spruce but a Google search will find it at a much better price.
