My building buddy, Rhea (humor)

Postby Sonex1517 » Sat Aug 20, 2011 4:07 pm

Sometimes when I am not making too much noise, my building buddy, our dog Rhea, likes to lay near me and nap while I work.

Recently we've been having a lot of storms, so she really likes to be near Dad when there is thunder. Until we began to build, she never went in the room I turned into a temporary workshop, which also has our sump pump. (don't worry, we'll be in the garage in a month or so)

Last week she was in with me when the sump pump ran during a storm, ran over to investigate, and stood there all concerned about what it was. She sniffed, pawed, and wagged a while, then came back over to lay down, one eye on the sump pump....

Today, same story - I am working on page SNX-T04 and she is napping nearby right before a storm rolls in. Eventually' the sump pump runs. This time, Rhea runs over to the sump pump, begins growling and barking and snapping at it.

I nearly dropped a tool on my foot laughing.....

Sorry, had to share....
