Routing cables through firewall

What technique is everyone using to route throttle and mixture cables through the firewall?

I have been trying to decide between the Cable Safe and Eyeball assemblies. Which is best for passing through the angled firewall?

What about a simple rubber grommet?

I used this. All the wires fit and it seems like it will be ok.

I used these stainless steel shields (A/C Spruce) that have a fire gasket (red) on the back side. I added a little fire caulk as well, just to make sure the gap between the shield and the firewall was filled.

I used a concept (almost a trick) that I picked up reading Tony Bingelis' book Firewall Forward. I applied RTV to the small remaining gaps. It worked for me!

I used Aircraft Spruce Cable Safe II firewall cable fittings. I can't remember which size the cables are, but the part numbers from ACS is either 05-16252 or 05-16253.

They work great!
