Not in the story (but in the finer print) is that it will actually offer an Octane rating in the 115-145 range.

The standard ASTM detonation test for operation at full take-off power (D909) demonstrates G100UL is superior even to the old 115/145 “purple” avgas used on DC-7s and Constellations.

So no lead - plugs will last longer. Oil will last longer between changes.

and at least in SOME engines - a switch to a full synthetic oil may be possible.
