Socially Distant though. KUUU - Newport to KBID - Block Island to KWST - Westerly and some south shore sightseeing for 1.6 this morning.

Have you landed at Richmond, 08R? My father in law has a place in Charlestown. I plan on flying there this summer. Perhaps we could meet up.

Bill,

I'm in and out of 08R a lot - it's the only real shortfield with obstacles in RI. But there is the rub - nestled down in trees - it's not awesome on a hot high day unless there is a good wind assist straight down the runway. When the wind is across the runway on a hot day - I tend to give it a miss. Cheapest fuel in the area. But as I like to go in and out light - I rarely buy any there.

Here with a Young Eagle - doing short fields at 08R - (no audio)




Charleston - depending where - KWST - Westerly is a better and much safer bet. YES - Keep in touch - unless it's OSH week - planning on being around this summer.
