The joys of a shared hangar

I share the hangar with a Remos from a flight school - today I was sent the attached photo. I flew yesterday and when I left, the prop did not look like this.

Does anyone have a prop for a non turbo AeroVee for sale?

Something similar happened to me a couple of years ago. Fortunately Sensenich was able to repair my prop. Only difference is that it had to be painted white by them to make the repair invisisble.

Sorry to hear of the damage /mishap? How did that happen? Did they take ownership of the damage they caused?
Hope you find a replacement prop soon. Can the old one be fixed? Is the broken off piece still there?

Michael - as of right now, no. There is no one accepting responsibility.

I know for a fact that when I left that hangar on Thanksgiving day that the prop was in perfect condition. I flew it for 1.5 hours and out it away myself - I also put the Remos away that shares space with it.

There was no wood chunk to be found in the hangar. So right now I am not at all a happy camper.

I know a repair is possible. Gus Schlegel ( Sonex's N385SX and N7770R) demonstrated how he made a similar repair at a Mid-West Sonex flyin several years back.

If by shared hangar, you mean shared with only one or two others this will not help, but for first three years on my bird's life it was in a large community hangar. That hangar had a security camera that was not advertised nor easily spotted, so if you are in one of those, ask if they have one.

Huge thank you to Ben G in Oregon, who had a brand new Sensenich prop he did not need. I bought it from him - got it today.
