Ken, I suppose technically you are tightening the outer washer against the wire, which is through the hole in the bolt. However my inner washer also showed some marks on it like the wire was pressing in to it. I have the large .078" wire from ACS so maybe that's why. I found that an Azusa wire swivel fits the throttle lever and seems to hold the wire a little better. I'm not sure which I'll use, but the Azusa swivel seems better right now.
