This past weekend, Rose and I took "Flyin' Matilda" into KGSO ... nice day, finally got to use the transponder, see if I can still follow instructions and land on a really big runway.

Nice work, sir! It''s always fun to fly the little Sonex around with the big boys. I hope Rose was suitably impressed. Cheers to you both,

Hey! She critiqued my radio calls, hit me with a ruler everytime I strayed from 20 ft of altitude and generally acted as a most excellent co-pilot. She wants to know what our next "mission" is .... so much for wives not appreciating experimental aviation.
All the best to you and the nice lady who lets you live at her place.
Cheers,
Andrew

Andrew,
I've got the "wife not appreciating aviation" covered for you, experimental or otherwise. No need to stress over your unusual situation.

When Rose took her first flight a lot of years ago in a piper warrior, pretty sure she gripped the door for dear life the entire flight and later came back and said something like, I promised to love you, but not necessarily die in a small plane for you (paraphrasing). After having had to put up with the thing for years in the garage, she wants to get some use out of it now and she is indeed an excellent "right seater" as she herself would say.
There is always time ...
