Hi,

I'm new to the group, and been researching building a Onex for a while now.
Is there a OneX builder / flyer in Oz here that would let me sit in there creation?
I'm 6'4" tall, and around 250 lbs. Will I fit (I think I can)

There are a few reason for the OneX but a main one is the ability to easily trailer away (I'm only 5 min from the Airport!)
A second is the cheap running an maintenance cost of the AeroVee engine.

I have owned a piper Arrow in the past, and know that the running cost can build up

Hopefully someone can help :)

Thanks

Drew

It might help if you narrow down your location a bit. I think there is one at Temora in NSW and a couple in South Australia.

I'm in the South Sydney area.
Bankstown, Camden, Wedderburn & the Oaks would be "ideal"
But I should get to Temora and see the Museum :)

The Sonex would be good for construction advice.
Ill try and track them down.
Both Wedderburn & The Oaks easy to get to

Send me a pm if you want to get in touch.

Welcome to the group! It sounds like you're interested in building and flying an Onex aircraft, which is a great choice given its portability and cost-effectiveness. As for finding a builder or flyer in Australia who can let you sit in their Onex to check for fit, here are a couple of steps you could consider:
