New Owner Sonex A #972

Hello all -
I'm the new proud owner of Sonex 972 - N419SK
Built by Kenneth Flaglor in 2011
I had it transported to me from it's prior home in Indiana to West Virginia. The transporter I used was DeLand Barnstomers (Bill Willmeroth) This is the second airplane Bill has moved for me. I highly recommend his services for transporting aircraft, projects or about anything. He is an A&P and really knows his business!
As for the airplane - N419SK is a beaut!
I DID EVERYTHING WRONG in buying this airplane -
- I bought it sight unseen
- No prebuy
- Trusted the seller 100%
WOW WAS I LUCKY! The airplane is PERFECT. Well built. Clean and true.
The builder was a fellow named Kenneth Flaglor. He was well known to the homebuilt family. I did some research on him. He has built some 10 or so airplanes. Evident by the construction of my new to me airplane this man was a perfectionist. Perhaps someone out there in the Sonex community knows/knew him? Would like to hear from anyone that did.
I did the ownership transfer (i.e. $100 transfer tax for Sonex) and that all went well. Have sent off my registration form to the FAA and am putting the wings back on this weekend.
I have attached a photo so you all can see this beauty. Can't wait to get in and start getting to know my new friend.
Thanks for the time -
Greg.
