I have ordered and received the Onex Tail Kit. Looks like I am going to build this aircraft in Sub-kits or have to come out of retirement.

I would like to build this Onex keeping to the Sonex philosophy of “Simply… The Best Kit Aircraft Performance Per Dollar”. I have decided to go flush rivets and will purchase the Pre-Assembled Main Wing Spar and Machined Angle Component Kit. Base on what I have received I like the option. My FWF will be the AeroVee 2.1 Turbo (Get it ready for me Jeremy!) with the Ground Adjustable Propeller. It will be Sport Complainant and support VFR Day/Night operations with ADS-B (because I will cruise at FL100). 10 Percent of my time will be spent inverted. I have stalked most of your Builders Logs and compiled a list of lessons learned and tips and tricks. Thanks! And a special thanks to the guys that put that extra effort into explaining the process. BZ to the guys that sketch or .pdf the document.

If you are within 75 of the Sacramento area give me a call (858 DASH 395 DASH 6718) or drop me an email at Courage1st AT Gmail DOT com and let’s get together and talk. I am looking for a Onex Mentor in the area. Most of you are hiding out there…. I am registered on MyKitLogPro too.

Looking forward the 11th Annual Northern California Sonex Fly-In at Rio Linda Airport (L36) Rio Linda, CA this weekend.

Bob,
Welcome to the forum! Good intro. Had to look up BZ as I was never in the Navy.
