Well, I finally ordered a 150 grit and a 60 grit aluminum-oxide wheel (NOT A SCOTCHBRITE) and installed them on my bench grinder, then I tried out the 150 grit on SNX-5-13-03 (after practicing with a tin can I flattened with my new Arbor press); not thrilled with the result, so I bought a file 8" Long Half-Round File for Aluminum and Soft Metals 4218A16 and Nylon Mesh Cushioned Sanding Pad for Aluminum, Soft Metals and Nonmetals, 3M Scotch-Brite 644846365A35 from McMaster-Carr, and will finish this part by hand. And look for some scrap aluminum to practice on in the interim.

And thanks for the Harbor Freight link, Keith kmacht, I just bough an arbor press from HF last week; that 1" belt sander looks good - perhaps I'll start watching the price. As someone said on this post . . . "the real hobby is collecting tools." That is fersure!! I think I've spent over $1,000 in tools since I ordered the SonexB tail kit.
