I've done similar deals before with questionable sellers. Have them take it to a local FBO or EAA chapter and offer them $100 donation to 'validate' the person and sale. They are usually happy to pose for a few photos and make a phone call for $100.

When I sold my Dynon displays we used an avionics shop as the escrow which tested, held them, and shipped them once I cleared payment.

Well i am new here and trying to figure out how to post pictures, I understand how everyone feels which is normal. I'm tired of seeing the engine around and i will be moving soon so i dot want to carry it along. Pickup is very much okay by me..I'm only offering that low because i just want to see it gone..

I can even accept just shipping based on trust and have it sent, once inspected and everything checks out the buyer pays the balance
