Concur, it's a Type IV. And the nose of the "Fan" end of that crank has a short, steep taper that makes it unsuitable for a prop hub attachment. Steve Bennett of Great Plains tried to make this engine work and an internet acquaintance of mine put one in his KR-2 and it almost killed him. Steve stopped cataloging parts for Type IV engines. You MIGHT be able to make this engine work as a flywheel drive, but the aluminum case is substantially heavier than a Type I, so why bother?
As I've said for decades, if you think the airframe you want to use needs more than about 70 - 80 continuous horsepower, you should be looking at some other engine.
