Lev o gage 4 works great. Yaw string works pretty good as well but the deflection isn't as pronounced as on a glider. I'm gonna relocate it a little further back on the canopy. I had it just aft of the front bow.

I apologise , in advance, however my scepticism has the better of me;

How on earth can a "yaw string" or "tuft of wool" etc give any meaningful information, when used on an aircraft with an operating, front mounted engine/propeller ???

The whole concept of the tuft, is that it indicates relative wind/air movement, over the cockpit, to the pilot, so that he/she can determine balanced flight.

With a front mounted engine, all the tuft will tell you is that its being affected by prop blast - the exception may be when the aircraft is in a strong side slip.
