Anyone have the Duckworks Landing Light Instructions?

Postby Spaceman » Tue May 24, 2022 8:15 pm

Quick request! Anyone have the instructions that come with the Duckworks landing lights? I'm redoing mine but I don't have the printed instructions anymore, and I don't see them on their website. Just want to double check a few things I'm doing...

Thanks!!

I'm not going to be at the hangar until Saturday, but I'll make a note to have a look. It's not sticking in my memory though as something that I definitely kept. I do remember I had to keep bugging them to ship the stuff. Glad I did though. I do like them.

I may have them in a pdf in my email; if I do I'll PM them to you.

Hi Lakespookie, we discovered in PMs that the sheet I had was for the wiring, not the install. I did find, with some snooping, an ordering page that has install instructions for $2 and wing cutout and rib templates for $.75 each. Shipping is $8 though, so only worth it if you're getting other things too.

I'm going to try ordering them soon since I need to order new lenses anyways, the ones that came with my lights are cracked.

I have the complete Duckworths installation manual (10 pages).
If you need all I can scan it and send on Tuesday.
If you need a specific page PM me with a cell number and I’ll take a pic of that page.

I got the manual! Here it is. If anyone has the templates that might be helpful to someone else in the future... I asked Duckworks for them but haven't heard back yet. Since I was swapping my light from one wing to another I was able to just trace the hole on the existing wing to make my own template.
