Hi all,
Just starting this thread for people to post highlights you experience during the week.

1) I arrived sunday afternoon due to my connecting flight to appleton being canceled sat. sorry to have missed the sunday open house. maybe some one could post about this years open house.

2) was reading the oshkoshnorthwestern paper online sun nite at the motel.
first article was a picture w wayne daniels checking out the new GA offices in the terminal bldg.

3) The eating places around the grounds and the eaa merchandise bldg’s staying open later till 8pm.
after the airshow ends at 6 it gets deserted except the ultralite area.

4) went to the main eaa merchandise building by the tower . big book selection. picked up a new book from our own paul dye (eXenos and subsonex). ‘ shuttle houston’ . nasa’s longest serving flight director. His life in the center seat of mission control.i look forward to reading it. congrats paul!

5) vans announced a new model coming. RV-15. high wing! back country bush type tundra tires. prob not lsa.
lycoming powered. alum. riveted. most in audience voted for driven rivets over pull rivets.

6) SOS beer tent with food corn and music. i hope this venue will always be there. especially for the campers have somewhere to go at nite.

7) have a fun and safe week. please feel free to post your airventure fun.

Hi Michael

Did you already take a peek at Paul Dye’s book so as to find out what he means by “eXenos”?

Thanks
Carlos
