Agreed, I'm an upside down rookie. I entered the roll at @ 125mph ias pulled up slightly and did a full deflection and held through the roll. To compare to the standard aileron, we would need someone with them to do the exact same. Not sure it Charlie did that.
I will say that having the big ailerons does not make the plane twitchy, the smaller flaps do not impact my landings. I can land as slow as any other sonex. I'm glad I chose them,
