Double ended clecos and figure 8 masking tape. Time to rivet, but we won't get a chance until Friday.

Began riveting the skins. Ran out of time, will finish Sunday. Adam let me do the last 10 tonight.

Adam got the other sides of the skins riveted as far as we can go before we install the tail on the fuselage. Awesome.

The stabilizers are wrapped in old t shirts and stored under the workbench. We have started on the ruddervators. I saw this idea for drilling the hinges somewhere.

Nice drilling jig... Simple, repeatable, effective! I should have made something like that! Oh well, next one!

Ruddervator skins trimmed with a cutoff wheel on my grinder. Then the belt sander, files and scotch brite. Drive horns bent and clecoed to the root ribs.

Late night at the hangar again. I am drilling skins. The wood is a quick little surrogate rib I made to support the skin while drilling. Helps a lot. One thing I figured out is you don't really have to measure out the holes for the angled part on the root - just lay a straight edge across the other marks and mark the intersection with the line 1/4" from the edge.
