I see no reason why the undrilled taper pin could not be used. I just used what I had. I do not ever expect to see the need to undo the cotter pin and tighten it in the future. But I could be wrong.

I would have to measure them to see what they are. I'm sure you could measure the grip length of what is needed and determine which pin to get long before I would get the the hangar, remember to measure them and then get back with you. I did order AN386-2-12 and AN970-3 washers which I'm guessing are the two I bought for the gear leg to axle attachment that I didn't install. Not yet, anyway.
