I really appreciate everyone being patient as we worked through some joys of modern technology.

No. You did not sound like an idiot.

I’m the one sitting in my airplane, canopy closed, talking to my iPad when other chapter members wandered in to the EAA hangar.

One thing I’ve learned from all of this isolation crap - it’s good to see people again when given the chance. Virtually, across the hangar, out on the ramp.....it’s just good for the soul.

We will do this again next week

onex107. i too waited a couple weeks due to security concerns . not only for this group, but other ones and friends too.
i was satisfied zoom addressed the software security .

For the duration of this event, yes. We will do one each week.

Graeme, I do the whole thing on cellular. I hot spot my phone, connect my iPad and have successfully hosted six different Zoom meetings from the hangar.

We have next week lined up. Once I confirm things, I will post the next virtual fly in.

I got 1.2 hours flying time today. Wind got a little sporty coming back to 1C5, and I can tell I’m rusty.
