Sonerai comes back to John Monnett/ Sonex LLC

Postby vigilant104 » Sun Dec 22, 2019 12:16 am

I read yesterday that the Sonerai plans and parts business is now part of Sonex LLC. Any comments from those in the know? It would be interesting to find out if there are any new ideas in the works, etc. A tube-and-fabric design within the Sonex LLC tent would be something different.

No doubt the Sonerai is a great design. The continued demand for the various variants (and the loyalty of those who fly 'em) after all this time speaks volumes about its timeless appeal.

This is great news. Built a Sonerai IIL when I was 24...a long time ago. I've been thinking of building something else when I'm done w the B and would love to do another Sonerai.

Be interesting to see how this plays out. Kerry only has eight models to keep up with. What's a few more :-)

I still enjoy this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1vTm8vZ-5aM
