Just a quick caution on see through strainers. We had a glass strainer break in a Kit Fox and no way to stop two wing tanks from draining on the hangar floor. Vise grips were the only option. Leave yourself a way out. The glass broke when the metal end fittings were tightened. O.K. on cars but not O.K. on airplanes.

A clear plastic one with NPT fittings would be nice, but I have searched high and low and have never found one with NPT fittings.

The camera fits in the spark plug hole, but that's all, no movement. I could only look strait ahead at one spot. I ended up getting a small endoscope camera for a smartphone from Amazon. I think it was around $11. Its very small, not the brightest picture, but you can see everything, piston and valves with the add on angle mirrors.

I use the Vividia VA-400 borescope, and I like it a lot. The probe is slender and easily fits inside a spark plug hole, and the articulating head can be adjusted using the finger control from straight ahead to 180 deg back behind. The high level of articulation makes it possible to inspect the piston top, cylinder walls, and both valves. Well worth the $200 selling price - perfect for engines, though maybe not so much for the fuel tank.

hi all,
just happened to see this on the rotec site. is a fuel strainer that screws into the tbi , AN6 fittings.
$35. this is especially good for the rotec tbi’s as they have a fine hole spray bar.
