Then obviously you also decided not to monitor fuel flow. I asked a local two time RV builder about a fuel flow meter. He had a lose connection one time and landed immediately because of sudden unusually high fuel flow. He said it saved his life since the fuel was leaking in the engine compartment and was amazed he didn’t have a fire. That was enough reason for me to add one.
And since I had no experience with leaning, I thought it would give me an extra parameter to assure me I was in the advertised range.
