Hi Wes, I held the handle up against the end of my table mounted belt sander to put in 4 finger indents.

I cleaned up the handle and alumiprepped it, then dipped it into the plastic dip. Has held fine for 5 years.

Thanks Rick. If I strike out a McMaster's I'll give the alumiprep and plastic dip a shot.

hi wes,
the notch told hold the brake for parking is marginal at best. variences in temps , fluid lvl, air in system , puck wear. you may want to use a matco parking brake valve, or something similiar.

Hi Michael,

Usually, I like things as simple as possible. Right up until it is too simple to work. I'll give the simple solution a chance and see if it has crossed that line. If so, I'll go with something else.
