I am making a reversing throttle cable as shown in the picture John Gillis shared. There is a hole already in the aerocarb slide. I made a hole in the aerocarb body to match.

I tapped the hole in the slide to 1/4-20.

Here is how the rod threads in.

Since I have lost all my photobucket and postimage pics, I've also lost interest in the updates. But we are making progress. Here is a video of my mixture control mockup.

My center controls are very Cessna like. All the reversing is at the carb. Both the throttle and the mixture have over 3" of travel for the pilot to play with. Since I ditched the cleco pivots the throttle motion is outstanding. I have the real hardware on the way from Aircraft Spruce.

Josh and Bill were at the EAA 1414 breakfast today and stopped by to visit.

Thanks Ed! I've worked out my tail fairing geometry and am polishing before I form it.

This is one pass of F9 with the bonnet last used a couple years ago.

If I had been willing to make another one of these fairings, it would be perfect. I am moving on.
