Mark,
I should watch more of those videos. It is hard to find the time!

Here was how I opened up my bushings for the mixer mount. There is a tube with a slot in it and a piece of scotch brite taped on like a flag.

The scotch brite gets rolled around the tube and inserted into the bushing. I spun it both forward and backward, i.e. in the unroll direction.

You will notice I modified my -3 rivet cutter tool with a counterbore so I could cut rivets shorter. That was for the nutplates to hold the pitot mount block in the tail.

When I painted my tank cover, as mentioned, the SEM primer didn't stick. By running a straight edge over it I easily knocked off 70% of the paint back to bare aluminum and I took the rest off with acetone. Try 2 was with industrial Rustoleum flat black. That turned out awesome.

My mixer is pilot drilled together and soon to see the tapered reamer.

I chucked the painted tank cover back in place while Adam was putting pistons in. Looks cool.

Here I have reamed the mixer for the taper pin. Came out good. I reamed by hand.

It was a pain to mask the mixer. But I didn't want to get any black paint on the black powder coat.

Whatever you do, Waiex Builders, don't drill the top tube of the mixer for an AN5 bolt before you install it. If you do, you will miss the joy of removing the mixer to open up that tube, and the thrill of getting the washers between the bushing and mixer mount while getting all the holes to align for a second time. My tap handle was too small so I made a custom one using 1/2" open end wrenches and the good duct tape.
