Here is how I trimmed my bushings:


I could not find the callout for bolting the aileron pushrod to the bellcrank. I assume the bolted joint is the same as the pushrod to the ruddervators. Can anybody steer me to the right page?

The bolting is on page SNX-W02. Looks like you build the push rod in "C" and it directs you to "W". I kept looking over C02 then went back and saw I miss read the plans.

The bad noise was because we have no aft stop yet. The pushrod dragged on the rib hole.

To lock my sticks in the neutral position I used a piece of scrap with a 3/8" hole. Put it on the roll stop and clamped it.


Here is what I used for an aft stop. A piece of scrap clamped to the floor structure.


Finally here is my rigging setup per detail N, C03.


Ailerons are rigged minus socking down and cotter pinning everything.

Nice progress! Are you planning to leave the wings attached now that they are rigged?

Nope! Not enough room. Wings go on the shelf and motor comes next.

To move my flaps down, I need to remove and replace the hinges. Sadly, they are hard to drill out. I can't knock out the mandrels as the structure is too springy, and the rivets tend to spin if you just go at it with a drill. So, I am sanding the heads off.


While I was in the middle of that fun, Adam made a second set of wing racks.


I plan to fix the flaps before we store the wings. Then it is onto the Aerovee!
