Wayne,

Thanks for putting those concerns to rest. I want to ensure that we remain considerate guests, and keep the fun-factor high for you so you'll keep hosting us!

Robbie,

I think the way to go on SWAG (shirts, hats, stickers, coffee mugs) is to offer a pre-order / pre-pay system, with a cutoff date a couple weeks in advance of AirVenture. Then the firm (paid) orders can go to the production shop in time for the stuff to be brought in to the BBQ. Throw in a few extras for non-prepaid people and it might work out fairly easily. Maybe even do a raffle for a few door prizes (could include the cost in the ticket price) - everyone loves to win stuff!

Hi all , robbie,
My father will loan me a 7 passenger van for next yrs bbq, and i'll get the name tags.maybe a prepay online link, and budget for a few now shows and last minute additions. Upping the price to $10 seems very reasonable, maybe a gift cert. To wayne and kathy for a local resturant would be nice. A few raffle prizes would be fun (some sonex hats ?)
Again robbie u did just fine, thanks for all your effort.
Thanks to all on the SBPF board for serving and conducting the monday flightline meeting.

Any left over from that 10 dollars could be kept to to build a fund to cover costs of an inevitable rain-out some future year.

Hi dave,
Yep a rainey day may keep the numbers down a little, but wayne has a big hangar and we could still have it inside. Hope you can make it next year.
