Hi bryan,
Looks great!! Thanks again for your time and pics /postings, im sure has helped many builders along their journey.
One quick question, all your clecoes, do you ever get a dimple or scratch from them, especially with your aircraft being polished? I found the cleco protector tips from ATS aircraft supply to be much cheaper and also color coded by size, than the generic yellow ones that spruce sells.

We have a few "beauty marks" where we did a poor job of flipping the wing. Three more from the polisher catching the edge of the sheet. One on the tail, one on the fuselage, one on the wing. We will never make Grand Champion at Oshkosh. All that pales compared to knowing I built the airplane with my kid. If I was a perfectionist I am sure I would have driven him away. I've seen it happen. I do not use cleco protectors and that does not seem to be an issue for me. The cleco injuries from flipping would not have been prevented by a piece of soft plastic.

My neighbor made these wing rigging tools for me. Started out as a 3/8" OD 1/4" ID tube. He turned it down to .3725", like my AN6 bolt.

Busy day today. Took the family to Kenosha, WI where we went for a ride on an old ship - the Red Witch. After we climbed up a lighthouse. Adam and I went on a "bike ride" after and somehow the leading edge got closed up.

Adam and I finished riveting the right wing:


Looks nice and clean! We were coloring in blocks in the plans tree, and there is a block for pitot tube... CRAP! It is too nice and clean! Oh well, a ways back I was going to copy Kip's tail pitot installation but then discovered my A/C Spruce hardware kit had a pitot static tube. Looks like I am back to plan B.

The wing does look clean Bryan... sorry to hear about the Pitot issue! Did you already put in the brackets and tubing?

the ACS prebuilt AS and Pitot is a big time saver and will speed your build, Really want to see your bird airborne ASAP. All the mods add a lot of time and usually weight.

I have not installed brackets & tubing yet. Had I remembered before I closed the LE, it would have saved time. Right now, I don't think so.
