I have plans for other places to store the cup. I have to finish my Hummelbird after the Waiex, then I have Skybolt plans.
I'm a bit disappointed Bryan. I was hoping to see cup holders in the Waiex.

Worry not- have not started on the cockpit yet. When we were building the X2 at Sikorsky we put cup holders and fuzzy dice in the cockpit. Not all were amused.

My left wing is stored:
The shelf capacity should hold the wing, but I am a belt and suspenders kind of guy. The racks are screwed to the wall and a heavy duty shelf bracket is underneath. The racks are designed so you insert the trailing edge first, lift them high, and drop them into the notch on the bottom for the leading edge. If a gust of wind comes from behind, it will rotate out on the nose but then will hit the top of the bracket.

My most recent mistake- they call out -46's where the inboard ribs have doublers. They mean it!
That is a couple hours of time I wish I had back! Good to keep the rivet removal skills sharp I guess. I was blazing along with -44's rather than paying attention.

I drilled my fair share out on my wings! Using the wedge and getting a flush rivet head has been a constant challenge for me.

It's like groundhog day. Seems like I just did this:
Here is a cleco alternative. Wanted to hold the TE down so I could sock down the screws for the wood brace:
It is just a long #40 bit pinning the aft spar to the wood.
